| this is a post i put up about two years ago. Sky reminded me of it and requested a repost. So, here it is.
i have become , once agian, fond of eating cereal in the mornings. ever
since , i dont know, freshmen year or earlier i stopped eating
breakfast. i eventually became accustomed to not eating anything in the
morning.Within the last 3 weeks i have started to eat cereal for my
morning meal, 2 bowls of it actually and some sausage and toast. i now
have a full belly as i leave my household for the dayly grind. it is a
great feeling i have missed out on for oh so many years. this past week
i found myself on a quest for the perfect amount of milk for a single
bowl of cereal. now when i say "the perfect amount of milk" im talking
about running out of both milk and cereal at the same time. however, i
am not say i dont love drinking the sugary milk after a big bowl of
kids cereal, we all know that's the best. i havnt gone as far as measuring
the amount of milk and cereal i put in the bowl yet and probably never
will. im trying to go for look and feel when it comes to how much milk
to my cereal.and the only other variables that i have found are the
amount of cereal and milk that stays in the spoon and the size of that
spoon.now the difference in spoon size can have a dramatic effect. sure
a bigger spoon can hold more milk but it can hold a whole lot more
cereal. at my house i can fit 1 and a half to 2 of the smaller spoons
in the larger one. so i get twice as much milk but i can heep 3 to 4
times as much cereal on the larger spoon. which will leave a lot more
milk at the bottom of the bowl.and then there's the size of the bowl
you use but i've used the same bowl size the entier time so i dont need
to go into that part of the research. so far in my studies i have
accomplished this once, last friday. i most state that the perfect
amount of milk also entales that every spoonful be about the same
amount of both cereal and milk, but maybe you all assumed that.

| I find it particularly interesting that specific scents bring back a flood of memories so intense that it is as if you are reliving that moment in your life all over again.
